The Teddy Bear Coat has no doubt got to have been the coat of the season, so when I spotted this perfect pink number in the Topshop sale I knew it would be the answer to my winter sartorial dreams!   Long, cosy and unstructured, with dreamy big statement buttons, it's just like wrapping yourself up in a fluffy warm hug. I'm so in love with the millennial pink colour of it too, err so yes... millennial pink is very much a thing it seems now, but when I've come to write about it I've got to hold my hands up and admit, I've had no idea how to describe it! To think that a new shade of pink has been created when there are a helluva lot of shades already out there is a bit cray, but I can assure you millennial babes, it has very much been given the thumbs up as a pantone shade in its own right. Glamour have described it as 'Pink with the blue taken out of it,' whilst the Guardian have dubbed it a 'grapefruit shade of apricot salmon'. Hmmm, doesn't quite have the same tasty appeal when you describe it like that does it? But either way I am very much a fan so, welcome to my wardrobe millennial pink! You'll no doubt have seen it up and down the catwalk to basically gracing everything on the rails in Zara!

The best thing about this coat is it will go with so many items in your wardrobe! Greys, pinks, black, white and denim blues, you name it and this pink baby has got your back. I've teamed it with a beaut stripe sweater from Next that boasts all my fave the pastel shades and these super comfy grey jeans and OTK boots from New Look (similar here). (Also an ideal way to add some extra warmth on a cold day I might add) and we all need that now January is not giving us a break from the cold!  So on that note, I'm off to grab myself a mug of hot chocolate and start scouring the Spring collections to find some more pops of millennial pink to add to my wardrobe - its no doubt here to stay this SS18 and I couldn't be happier about it!

I've always got my eyes on the look out for some new make up treats to fill my make up bag with so when the lovely team at Wonderland kindly got in touch to try some of their best sellers I couldn't possibly say no! I received the 'Studio Finish Primer,' 'Glitter You Nail Varnish,' and 'Loose Pigment in Sky' through my letterbox and was pleasantly surprised by the packaging. Simplistic and monochrome vibes - I mean what's not to like! I'd not heard of Wonderland before, but if you're after cruelty free make up at a price that won't break the bank then you should definitely check them out! 

Wonderland Studio Finish Primer*

The Studio finish primer is simply divineeee! It goes on so smoothly and I can honestly say it makes a noticeable difference as soon as you apply it. My skin looked visibly smoother, my complexion was softened and it blurred my imperfections. Plus it gave my day-to-day make up more lasting power. As some one with skin-type slightly more on the oily side I try to avoid layering too much on my skin and I found you didn't need too much of this to achieve a good coverage. You can see why it's been used widely by various make up artists for some insane make up artistry. Check out their Insta for some serious make-up envy pics! 

Wonderland 'Glitter You' Nail Varnish & 'Sky' Loose Pigment*

As a self-confessed glitter nail lover Wonderland hit the nail (no pun intended) on the head when they sent me this super cute 'Glitter You' polish. If glitter polish doesn't stop after the Christmas party season for you (I mean, why would it?!) then this is the perfect sparkler! It applied really evenly and glided on beautifully. The polish is a nice mix of smaller and bigger glitter pieces so creates a great look. Plus - it dries really quickly and isn't gloopy at all which I can sometimes find with heavy glitter polishes. It definitely rivals some of the Essie and Model's Own varnishes I have used before. 

Wonderland Loose Pigment in 'Sky'*

The loose pigment I received was in the shade of 'Sky' which was a blue glittery shade. I have to say this colour wasn't really for me in terms of my personal style and colourings, however it went on so evenly and as you can see by the swatch on my hand, created such a fab pop of colour. It's super pigmented and would create such a statement look! There are tonnes of shades online, so I'm going to give some of the other pots a try!

Milk + Blush - Ombre Hair Extensions

I have always dreamt of having long hair, but my hair has always been the type to stop growing past a certain length. Those of you that have the same issue will have experienced the same frustration. No matter what products, the hair care or how often I tried to get it cut, I have never been able to get it much past shoulder length. I'd read so much about the damage bonded extensions could do (especially as my hair is quite fine) so that never appealed! So, when the lovely people at Milk + Blush got in touch with me to try out some of their latest clip in hair extensions, I jumped at the chance. Long, princess hair you shall be mine!  

I didn't know what shade or length to go for, so I sent a shot of my hair to the Milk + Blush team and they recommended the ombre triple weft full set, 16-18" in the shade 'Bel Air Baby'. When the set arrived it came in the most gorgeous blush packaging, complete with a tester weft to check the shade and length. I was amazed at how gorgeously thick, soft and luxurious the pieces were. They matched my hair colour perfectly and the ombre blend was so pretty! For tips on how to put them in I went to the super informative Milk + Blush YouTube channel and picked up a few techniques, I was such a novice I needed all the tips I could get. I first tried them on un-styled and cut them in to sit more in line with my face shape. For their first outing, I curled the hair extensions using my straighteners and adding some curls to my own natural hair. I then gathered the shortest pieces of my hair at the nape of the neck, twisted them and pinned them up. 

Then it was time to start clipping them in. I worked my way up from the bottom of my hair upwards, parting my hair into sections. I used the 3 clip weft followed by another 3 clip weft, before using the 4 clip weft across the back. I then positioned the remaining 2 clips either side of my head, 2 each side. As a first time user of any clip in hair extensions they were super easy to pop in and had a great grip. I didn't feel like they were going to fall out at any point which I was particularly worried about if the Manchester wind and rain is anything to go by! It's safe to say I'm a little bit addicted already!

Rome - City Break Style

Ciao Bellas! It's been a long time coming but finally, I'm back! A lot has changed since I last blogged. For one, I have waved good-bye to Cheltenham and traded in cotswolds life for city life in Manchester (where co-incidentally I started my blog in the first place). So, you can now find me tapping away on my keyboard blogging in a little flat in Northern Quarter! Living up here has given me all the more reason to re-start blogging, what with the copious amounts of fashion, cute cafes etc, plus someone to snap some outfit shots for me - thanks MisterYoungProfessional ;) - I've found myself four years down the line, fresh new blog look, fresh new start for 2016! (How very 'New Year, New me' cliche of me!) 

But before I begin on Manchester, I just wanted to do a little city hop and share some snaps from my recent mini-break to Rome with previously mentioned pal MYP and Quite Contrary Style to bust the January blues, enjoy a little "Vino al Vino" in "any bar, just your average Roman bar" and you know, I guess maybe see some sights on the side...                                                                                                         Well I can officially say that in just a few short days Roma romanced me with it's gorgeous buildings, amazing pizza and gelato and cultural charm. So much so I have picked out many a new home there over-looking a beautiful Piazza. One day you shall be mine chandelier filled, marble floored apartment of interior dreams! 

Packing for our chilly, but sunny, weekend away with a smaller-than-cabin size suitcase was not the one for an over-packer such as myself, but on our very own 'door tour' of Rome I got a few shots in front of one of the many incredible doors of one of my city-break outfits! As we all know outfit layering and flat shoes are pretty key when it comes to walking everywhere to explore a city. so I found these patent leather-style shoes a treat! My trusty silver satchel carried my camera along with the worst map of Rome in the world quite nicely, and I picked up the tassel-end scarf in Aldo whilst we were there because I definitely did not leave my scarf behind in Manchester....

Outfits aside, I have lots of shots of the city itself to share with you all on my next post!
