Blood Orange & Leopard Print

Deena & Ozzy Parker Buckle Chelsea Boots // £75 // Urban Outitters    Blood Orange Knit Jumper // £24.99 // H&M   Leopard Print Clutch // N/A // c/o Next      Black Jessie Jeggings // £28 // Oasis

Helloooo Mixbagers! Today's post brings a bright and breezy casual day outfit that I recently coined together. A slouchy jumper and jeans is by no means groundbreaking but sometimes it really is the simple things that I love! This blood orange jumper has become a big old fave recently with it's sassy brightness, cosy chunky knit and perfectly long sleeves - that sounds odd but you know that snug length when a jumper sits comfortingly long enough over your hands? Well, that.. please say it's not just me?!
It goes with a whole array of colours from greys, blue jeans to whites and is so easy to wear it's become very much a staple in my wardbrobe!

I love to throw in a print with this kind of bold colour, if anything just to set it off and inject a bit of fun into a simplistic outfit. This little leopard print leather clutch-come-shoulder strap bag from Next has been perfect to carry a few essentials out and about! It even has a faux-fur feel it too. Ooohhh.

Onto my next favourite thing these BOOTS. I had to capitalize that purely because I have so much love for them! After puppy destroyed my apparently very chew-able black Oasis ankle boots (R.I.P my little suede numbers) I used an Urban Outfitters discount code to purchase these beauts! In all honesty I have never bought shoes from UO before but these Deena & Ozzy Chelsea boots are amazing. I love the buckle detail style of them and whenever I have them on, the cuban style heel and sole feel pretty damn sturdy - which comes as a nice change to alot of the cheapy pair of boots I've bought in the past!

What do you think of this outfit?

The Power of Love

Happy Saturday everyone! My outfit post today is featuring the Herringbone Mango blazer I have been a bit obsessed with lately! It's part of the Kate Moss for Mango A/W 12 collection and I bought it not too long ago with some left over birthday vouchers! I was pretty chuffed I managed to only spend £39.99 on it and in my mind you really can't argue with those prices, so it was added to my wardrobe a.s.a.p! It's pretty warm and cosy due to it's over sized masculine styling so it has been keeping me toasty now the weather has taken a turn for the colder!

The jeans I'm wearing are from the Premium Denim range at Oasis. They've got a leather-look coating to give the appearance of leather without actually being leather themselves! I was a bit wary to try them at first as I'm not too much of a fan of squeezing myself into tight, uncomfortable little numbers but I can honestly say they are soooo comfy as they fit and have the feel of jeggings! Perfect! I also wore it with my classic black Topshop bag which I think I have had for about 6-7 years now! It's treated me so well despite the fact I always lose stuff in it as it's deceptively 'Mary Poppins' style in it's largeness! The little friendship bracelets are from Republic for only £4 each. They're so cute and pick-me-up I just had to have them!

Herringbone Short Coat: Mango £39.99 // Premium Coated Jean in Black: Oasis £45 // Boots: Miss Selfridge £N/A // Miso Spiked & Love Bracelet: Republic £4.00 each // Bag: Topshop £N/A

Hope you all have a lovely weekend whatever you get up to! I'm finally seeing the latest James Bond film this weekend so hopefully it will live up to all the good reviews I've heard about it!

PS. On a very separate note, have you all seen the new John Lewis Christmas advert? SO CUTE. It definitely rivals last years as possibly the most tear jerking ad, (yes I do find loved up snowmen moving) and if your a regular reader you will know I have a massive music crush on Gabrielle Aplin who is doing an amazinggg cover of Power of Love as the soundtrack for it! Check it out!

Crosses all over, heavy on your shoulder.

So finally I have managed to get round to writing a new post! Wooo! It got so crazy busy with final exams over the last couple of weeks I was starting to get major bloggers guilt! But I managed to pop home to Cheltenham over the lovely (and probably the only) sunny spell that we had last weekend and take some outfit photos of one of my recent purchases, my Roxie Cross Jeans from Missguided. There's nothing like pottering around the Cotswolds in the sun, although I won't lie to you I completely underestimated the heat and ended up changing not long after taking these snaps! Maybe best for a cooler day perhaps!

Some of you who have read my earlier posts may have seen that I had a bit of a crush on these jeans after seeing them at MCRFW, so I decided to treat myself after finally finishing uni forever! (Can't believe I have to actually face the reality of being a non-student after having it as a comfort blanket for so long. Eek!) The inverted cross print is popping up a lot at the moment I even spotted these jeans on Made In Chelsea's Gabriella in the last episode. I love that because these jeans are so statement with this print, you can literally throw on whatever colour top you like. I know in the Missguided advert they're teamed with a white stud-collar shirt, so I reckon I'm going to give that a go next! What do you all think of the roxie cross print?
