Hello Hello, long time no blogging I know! The past few weeks I have been seriously pre-occupied with my summer job working as a resident in a boys' house at a summer school. (Remind me never to have sons ha) so fashion has had to step aside whilst I attempt to avoid water fights and mouse traps! For those of you who have read the earlier post I did featuring the Next GB supporters scarf, I recently received some good news from Gemma at Spreading Jam that Next decided to feature the post on their website! Woo! You can check out the link here.
In other news, last month I was invited to attend the ‘Invitation Only’
June event! Admittedly at first I hadn’t really heard of them but after a quick
trusty Google search it showed the premise of these bi-monthly pop-up shop events is to
feature a selection of various collections from up and coming designers! So I grabbed my Oyster card, bullied my brother into playing taxi driver and headed to South Kensington to the Becca Boutique
to check it out!
The designers featured were Ruffle and Ruffle, Crow, Barbara Benner, Seline,
Aloe, Savanna Bettencout and Jeeves and Miller to name a few and there were
some lovely pieces from swimwear, accessories and garments. My favourite
collection following in the style of my last post were the simplistic and chic
pieces from Aloe consisting of silk shirts and shorts, maxi dresses and skirts in nudes, creams and black.

A touch of India was brought with these gorgeous embellished scarves. |

I'm lusting over these heavy fringed bags from Barbara Benner! |

Popping colour clutches from Miller & Jeeves |
Another favourite was the sunny yellow Ruffle and Ruffle cropped shirt dress, with a sheer skirt length. We thought it would look great with a pair of leather shorts underneath! And of course the over sized arm candy from Barbara and Seline would go nicely with it too!
After lots of browsing some yummy treats were also on offer with a table full of
delicious macaroons and cupcakes with cute tea cup sets for a spot of afternoon
tea! So pretty they were almost to good to eat.
It was great to discover some new designers and I definitely have a few
more pieces on my lust list as well as a pretty tea set! A big thanks to Invitation Only for the invite! Have any of you attended an Invitation Only event?
