Wonderland Make Up

Wonderland Studio Finish Primer *
Wonderland 'Glitter You' Nail Varnish*
Wonderland Loose Pigment in 'Sky'*
I've always got my eyes on the look out for some new make up treats to fill my make up bag with so when the lovely team at Wonderland kindly got in touch to try some of their best sellers I couldn't possibly say no! I received the 'Studio Finish Primer,' 'Glitter You Nail Varnish,' and 'Loose Pigment in Sky' through my letterbox and was pleasantly surprised by the packaging. Simplistic and monochrome vibes - I mean what's not to like! I'd not heard of Wonderland before, but if you're after cruelty free make up at a price that won't break the bank then you should definitely check them out!

Wonderland Studio Finish Primer*
The Studio finish primer is simply divineeee! It goes on so smoothly and I can honestly say it makes a noticeable difference as soon as you apply it. My skin looked visibly smoother, my complexion was softened and it blurred my imperfections. Plus it gave my day-to-day make up more lasting power. As some one with skin-type slightly more on the oily side I try to avoid layering too much on my skin and I found you didn't need too much of this to achieve a good coverage. You can see why it's been used widely by various make up artists for some insane make up artistry. Check out their Insta for some serious make-up envy pics!

Wonderland 'Glitter You' Nail Varnish & 'Sky' Loose Pigment*

As a self-confessed glitter nail lover Wonderland hit the nail (no pun intended) on the head when they sent me this super cute 'Glitter You' polish. If glitter polish doesn't stop after the Christmas party season for you (I mean, why would it?!) then this is the perfect sparkler! It applied really evenly and glided on beautifully. The polish is a nice mix of smaller and bigger glitter pieces so creates a great look. Plus - it dries really quickly and isn't gloopy at all which I can sometimes find with heavy glitter polishes. It definitely rivals some of the Essie and Model's Own varnishes I have used before.

Wonderland Loose Pigment in 'Sky'*
The loose pigment I received was in the shade of 'Sky' which was a blue glittery shade. I have to say this colour wasn't really for me in terms of my personal style and colourings, however it went on so evenly and as you can see by the swatch on my hand, created such a fab pop of colour. It's super pigmented and would create such a statement look! There are tonnes of shades online, so I'm going to give some of the other pots a try!

What do you think of these Wonderland make up products?

Lee Stafford My Big Fat Healthy Hair Shampoo Review

Hi guys! I thought I'd share with you some of the new products I've been loving lately! First up for this post is my new favourite shampoo, the Lee Stafford My Big Fat Healthy Hair Shampoo. I was having a bit of a hair downer when I bought this (I've just realised how much that sounds like one of those  'Shit Girls Say' lines haha). I don't know if it was the effects of winter temperatures or what, but my hair was pretty limp and lifeless and just felt really weighed down and flat. Now usually my hair can't really cope with volumising products as they seem to deposit too much product at the roots and as a result, I end up even more limp hair than before.. not ideal, so I decided to go for this shampoo as it said it was for achieving big volume without the dulling deposits! At £5.99 I wasn't expecting miracles in all honesty, but I have to say I really do love it!

First off the smell is amazzeee. It's so fruity and fresh I loved just applying it! Secondly it didn't take much of the product to work it through my hair as it's quite a thick gel, and thirdly it did exactly what it said on the tin. Once I had blow dried my hair it felt significantly bigger and had much more texture than before. It also felt much healthier, cleaner and a lot lighter whilst also remaining quite smooth! So yes, Lee Stafford Big Fat Healthy Hair Shampoo = Big thumbs up from me!

Have any of you guys tried any Lee Stafford products before? What are your favourites?

Make up & Hair for A/W 12/13

Happy Saturday everyone! I've been recently looking through a lot of the make-up and hair trends for this year's autumn winter season! A bit premature I know considering the summer has yet to start, but with all these different projects for uni going on at the moment I've found myself kind of emerged in it all so thought I would share!

On a general note, make-up appears to be channelling a gothic vibe, with thick bushy eyebrows and  smokey eye-liner. Lashes are dark and defined with lengthier lower lashes. Complexions are pale and creamy with pinky/peachy blushes, and often teamed with neutral and nude lip bases. However if you fancy injecting a bit of colour there are definitely some new shades being embraced such as electric blues! I'm personally loving the deep merlot lip colours!

On to hair styles, the looks from the catwalk are unruly and messy showing there is definitely no room for the prim and proper! Loose ponytails with backcombed volume and in-twining plaits make for a very textured look. It seems as thought the hair brush has been made redundant! Hurray for the low maintenance, especially if you're like me with uncontrollable waves!

I hope you all have lovely weekends whatever your doing! It's my housemate's 21st today so we're off for an afternoon of champagne and cupcakes and a night in Manchester, students living the high life or what?! As far as my outfit goes I've been loving the concious collection at H&M  recently and ended up  buying the pretty pink lace dress that was in Vogue the other day, so here's hoping I'll fit in to it after all the cupcakes!
