It feels like it's been a while since I last did a wishlist post, so when the guys at Blue Inc got in touch about their fab New In collection I knew it would be the perfect opportunity to get moodboarding some items I'm loving and of course, it would inevitably add a few more items to my ever-growing lust list - I mean have you seen the gorgeous prints they have?!

First off there's no denying I'm a right old floral girlie girl, from cute little kitsch prints to bold statement designs, there's just summin' about a floral print that I can't say no to. I love the look of the pretty floral print blouse and could just picture it teamed with high waisted denim shorts and a statement collar necklace for an 80's inspired look. Equally, the dip hem tunic is a personal favourite style of mine, flattering and eye-catching, this dress with a bold lip colour and chunky heeled shoe to balance the look would be an evening outfit choice good to go.

So I may have mentioned I like monochrome before? Just maybe, like, umm a little bit? Well it's certainly not going anywhere with these patterned pieces! Palm and tropical prints, love them or hate them, are pretty huge at the moment, but luckily you can wave good-bye to the garish colour clashes of the Hawaiin shirt era and work the trend in a more demure, classic way with this lovely palm print jumpsuit. The ankle strap heeled sandals are also a pretty lust-worthy pair of footwear right now, I love the golden metal twist-clasp of this pair from Blue Inc and they're a great little addition to a simple outfit combination!

What do you guys think of the new collection from Blue Inc?

Monochrome

1. Formal Drape Front Blouse // Topshop   2. Black Molly Jeggings // River Island   3. Gold Cuff // TU at Sainsburys   4. Tan Sandals // Topshop   5. Leopard Bag // Next

I am absolutely loving all the pieces coming through Topshop this season, they're bringing out some killer classic pieces that have left me in kind of a Topshop addiction at the moment. Ok ok, let's face it, it's hardly a temporary thing, I always love Topshop but please can we take a second in memory of my poor bank account...

hmmm on second thoughts maybe best not to dwell..

The good news is at least I have this beautiful cream wrap blouse to show for it! Hurrah! I've teamed it with my ever faithful black jeggings from River Island, chunky belt from Accessorize and tan sandals also from Topshop (see, I wasn't joking). The chunky arm cuff I have on is believe it or not from the TU range at Sainsburys, it made a nice little addition to my food basket and I love a bit of chrome accents with monochrome style looks!

If your looking for something to fit in  the 'Smart-Casual' dress code I think this shirt is pretty perfect,  it's a great one to throw on to dress up just a simple pair of jeans or skirt! Now the tan sandals, these beauties are just so comfy to wear and I love that they have the whole 'slider' style look to them that's everywhere at the moment, they just have a little heel instead! I couldn't decide for ages if I preferred them in black or tan, but the tan won in the end as I already have a fair few black shoes and thought they would great with paler colours too! If you're in need of some black sandals however I would recommend!

What do you think of this look?

Bristol Fashion Week' 13

Hi Guys! Last Friday I went to Bristol Fashion Week held at The Mall Cribbs Causeway! Despite the fact I only live about 50 mins away I had never been to BFW, so was pretty excited that I was given a bloggers pass to report at the live blogging event! I met up with beaut fellow Motel gal Vicki and two of her lovely pals and we headed off to collect our blogger passes and have a cheeky glass of bubbly and cupcake before the shows started! Prepare yourself for lots of photos!!

The shows were hosted by fashion duo - TV stylist Mark Heyes and celebrity hairdresser Andrew Barton who shared lots of styling and hair advice throughout the show. As quite a fussy hair person, one tip in particular that stood out in my mind was from Andrew Barton who recommend trailing out new hairdresses by booking a blow dry appointment with them first (something I've never thought of but makes complete sense!) - if they don't wow you and give you and your hair enough attention for that, then you know they're probably not the hairdressers for you and you probably shouldn't trust them with more complex things like colour!

All in all there were 11 fun filled catwalk shows from high street favourites such as River Island, Next, Marks & Spencer, Accessorize, Dorothy Perkins and Dune to name but a few! Each scene had it's own theme and personalised back drop which created the mood perfectly for each trend - in a way each show could be described as quite theatrical with all the dancing and props! The soundtrack was also a bit of a stormer too, I mean the last scene was a playful little show from River Island to none other than One Direction's One Way or Another, you just can't argue with a song choice like that haha! The finale also saw all the models and the two hosts cracking out a bit of Gangnam Style. Nicceee.

At the end of all the model stalking and bopping in our seats we were treated to a goodie bag filled with treats and tester that I will review the best of soon :) There was also a pamper zone dotted around the upper mall with a few stalls available to try out some make up brands like Body Shop and treat yourselves to beauty treatements and manicures, so we had a quick potter around! Unfortunately I had to dash home otherwise I quite fancied myself a mini manicure from Bourjois!

Me & Vicki!

Did any of you go to Bristol Fashion Week?
